U11 - U16 Rules
1.
Players must wear tennis shoes or indoor soccer shoes, NO CLEATS. To keep the floor clean and
dry, please carry your playing shoes to the gym.
2.
Number of players: Roster size – unlimited. You play with 5
players on the floor plus a goalkeeper.

Players must wear shinguards

Games times are: 2 – 20 min
halves, 1 min half time.
5.
Teams can only score from their offensive half of the floor. However, a ball that is kicked
from the defensive end that touches a player from either team and then enters
the goal will be counted as a goal.

There is no Off-Side
7.
All free-kicks, kick-ins, and the kick-off are indirect kicks. A second player must touch the
ball before you can score.
8.
A Penalty kick will be awarded if the following happens
i.
A Hand Ball that stops a sure goal, by anyone other than the
goalkeeper.
ii.
Pushing a player down to get possession of the ball
iii.
Slide tackling
iv.
A tripping foul from behind when trying to tackle the ball away
from the opponent
v.
Hitting another player

All of these fouls are left to the discretion of the referee
2.
Penalty Kicks will be taken from the top of the key with a
goalkeeper

If a player is sent-off, the team plays a player short for 2
minutes.
10.
When a team receives it’s fifth foul in the game, the team will
play a player short for 2 minutes.
11.
There are no throw ins, all balls will be kicked into play
12.
We will not play off the walls, a line on the floor will designate
the out-of-bounds
13.
Sub on the fly from the defensive end of the floor, player must be off the floor
before a new player enters.
14.
Players have 6 seconds to play ball on all kick-ins
15.
Under 12 and U14/15 teams will play with a goalkeeper.
i.
When the goalkeeper has the ball in their hands, they cannot throw,
kick or drop-kick the ball over the center line. Throwing or kicking the ball
over the center line will result in an indirect free kick to the opposing team
from the red line nearest to their goal.
ii.
The goalkeeper can pick up a ball that
is kicked back to them from their own team.
iii.
The goalkeeper is allowed to kick a goalkick,
or a ball that is passed to them, over the centerline.
iv.
A goalkeeper touching the ball with their hands outside the
designated area will result in an indirect free kick to the opposing team from
the spot where the offense occurred.
