Player Registration

Please go to the "Registration" page to register your player(s).

New player registration deadline: June 30. After this date it will be very difficult to find teams for new players.

For new players, when your child is placed on a team, a birth certificate will be required - valid birth certificate is any state/federal issued document - e.g. Birth Certificate, Passport, Adoption papers or Foster Papers.

Age Groups

Age grouping is as follows. This grouping is for Member Organizations of the Iowa Soccer Association. Dates are for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 only.

  • Under 6* - born between 8/1/07-7/31/09

  • Under 8 - born between 8/1/05-7/31/07

  • Under 10 - born between 8/1/03-7/31/05

  • Under 12 - born between 8/1/01-7/31/03

  • Under 14 - born between 8/1/99-7/31/01

*Age 4 is the minimum age - Players must be 4 by July 31 preceding the season in order to play. For Spring, the child must turn 4 by July 31 of the preceding year. This is a State requirement.

The soccer year begins on August 1 and ends July 31 of the following year.

Player Fees

Player fees will be collected at the time of registration.

  • Under 6 - $30.00 per Player per Season

  • Under 8 and older - $45.00 per Player per Season

Uniforms

If your team orders uniforms through CBYSA, the cost for each uniform is approximately $20.00. This cost is NOT included in the registration fee. Uniforms consist of a jersey, shorts and socks. The coach will collect this information at team registration.
